ABOUT ME
My name is Tom Zarcone and this website represents some of my art work that I have done over the past years.
Some History About Myself:
I was born and raised in Rochester, New York. Now, I am currently enjoying San Diego, California; the home of the San Diego Chargers and the Padres. I have been drawing and creating all different types of artistic work as far back as I can remember. I have always enjoyed art. Even as a child, I was always drawing sketches of buildings, mountains, water and palm trees.
One day I decided that it was time to make something of myself with my artistic background that I so much enjoyed. So I decided to go to college at Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York to pursue a degree in Graphic Design. I decided to keep pushing myself and I eventually decided that motion graphics was the path that I wanted to take for my career.
After Monroe Community College, I moved to Buffalo, New York and attended the State University of New York at Buffalo(which is also known as University at Buffalo or UB). My major was Media Studies (film) and my minor was in computer graphics.
The Present:
I am currently unemployed and in search of work. My former employer was at Reotemp Instruments. At Reotemp, I was the Marketing and Graphics Coordinator in which my work consists of marketing and graphic design. I designed all of the advertisements for magazines, brochures, catalogs, price sheets, etc. I was also the coordinator for all of the tradeshows that we are involved in.
My goals in life were to head West and follow the Hollywood dream of either producing big name films, motion graphics or graphic design. As you can see, I have followed at least one of my dreams and that is moving to San Diego, California in 2006. Another goal that I have also attained was obtaining a job in computer graphics. I am very goal oriented and I have a high desire to achieve all of the goals that I set for myself. I also have the extra ambition to become successful in my career. This is my brief life story of how I was able to get to where I am at today.
